Throughout the month of June we gave Pride Month Salutes to different entertainers, films, and television shows
that help represent the LGBTQ+ community. See our 2022 Salutes below.

SHELTER (2007 FILM)
Our Final #PrideMonth salute goes out to the 2007 film #Shelter which a tells the story of a young man (#TrevorWright) who falls for his best friend's older brother(#BradRowe). Shelter is a fan favorite and has won over 11 awards. #LGBTQ Shelter is available for streaming on Amazon Prime and HereTv.
THE OBITUARY OF TUNDE JOHNSON
(2019 FILM)
Our next #PrideMonth Salute goes out to #TheObituaryofTundeJohnson, a powerful and intense film about a black teen (Steven Silver) who is in a secret relationship with a white athlete (Spencer Neville) and is stuck in a time loop in which he is murdered by LAPD at the end of each day. #LGBTQ Available on #Hulu and other streaming platforms.


TRICK (1999- FILM)
Our next #PrideMonth salute goes out to 1999 film #Trick. This must see #LGBTQ classic follows the misadventures of two gay men, trying to find a place to be alone, one night in Manhattan. Cast includes Christian Campbell & J.P. Pitoc as the two leads. Also featuring the fabulous Tori Spelling & Miss Coco Peru!
#PATRIVAN - ELITE (NETFLIX)
Our next #PrideMonth salute goes out to Manu Rios & Andre Lamoglia who portray the characters of Patrick & Ivan in the recent Season 5 Series of @elitenetflix. The #Patrivan pairing gained a huge following with fans all over the world. Check out their must see story on #Netflix. #LGBTQ


#WILSON - DAYS OF OUR LVES
The next #PrideMonth Salute goes out to Chandler Massey & Freddie Smith who originated the characters of Will Horton & Sonny Kiriakis which became #Days first ever same sex supercouple (#Wilson). Both actors brought acclaimed popularity to the pairing and have won numerous awards for their portrayals. #LGBTQ

CLOUDBURST
Our next #PrideMonth salute goes out to the 2011 film #Cloudburst staring #BrendaFricker and the late #OlympiaDukakis as a lesbian couple who flee the USA to Canada to get married after one of them is forced into a nursing home by their granddaughter. It's a must watch comedy film which won
36 awards. #LGBTQ
LOVE, VICTOR
The next #PrideMonth salute goes out to the @lovevictorhulu series which just released its 3rd and final season. Inspired by the #LoveSimon movie, this series follows Victor's (Michael Cimino) journey of self-discovery as a gay teen. Catch all 3 seasons of #LoveVictor on #Hulu and #Disneyplus. #lgbtq


LOVE, SIMON
Our next #PrideMonth Salute goes out to the 2018 coming of age film #LoveSimon featuring Nick Robinson who portrayed Simon Spier, a closeted teen who struggles to balance his friends, family, and a blackmailer who threatens to out him. This award-winning film was a huge box office success and led to the popular spin off tv series #LoveVictor.

#HENREN
Our next #PrideMonth salute goes out to Aisha Hinds & Tracie Thoms who portray the lesbian couple Henrietta and Karen on the hit series 9-1-1. #Henren fans have seen the couple go through some difficult times, but they always manage to get through whatever unexpected situations life throws at them. #911onfox #RepresentationMatters #lgbtq
HEART STOPPER
Our first #Pridemonth Salute goes out to Heart Stopper tv series on #Netflix. This new British coming of age romantic comedy tells the story of Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), a gay school boy who falls in love with his classmate Nick Nelson (Kit Conner). Heart Stopper became an immediate hit and has been renewed for a second and third season.
